Elementary Children's Pastor/Director

Academy Christian Church of Colorado Springs, CO is looking to hire a full-time, pastoral-level, Elementary School-Age Director/Pastor for their Children's Ministries.

Summary: Provide oversight and leadership to the elementary school ministry to children and their families. Create environments where kids can place their trust in Christ and grow in relationship to Him through partnering with parents and curriculum development for Kindergarten 5th grade. Oversee the recruitment, training, scheduling, & retaining of volunteers.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to, the oversight and leadership of the Children's ministries as it pertains to elementary school-age children such as: Sunday programming, Kidz Choir, Parent/Child Baptism Class, Parent/Baby Dedication Class, Camps, Family Outreach Events, Care of volunteers, Volunteer Training Events, Classroom Upkeep, Playground Care and Upkeep, and Coordination with Lionheart Children's Academy for shared rooms. Work in cooperation with the Early Childhood Director for the general administration of the Children's Ministries department, shared events, resource management, budget development, and volunteer coordination.
