Ozark Christian College is a single-purpose Bible college in Joplin, Missouri.

Position Title: Mail Center Coordinator
Department: Mail Center
Reports to: Vice President of Student Affairs

The mission of the Mail Center is to distribute incoming and outgoing mail by providing postal services to employees and students. Institutional Goals supported by Department: IG 3, 4

A. Summary

This position handles all of the incoming mail, all of the outgoing first-class mail, and other mailing functions.

B. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Pick up mail from the Post Office.

2. Sort and box mail for employees.

3. Sort and box mail for students.

4. Process first-class outgoing mail daily.

5. Process bulk mailings as requested.

6. Sell stamps and postage for packages.

7. Assign and maintain student mailboxes.

8. Distribute tests and student papers to student mailboxes.

9. Distribute UPS and Amazon delivery packages.

10. Monthly accounting.

4. Knowledge of current students and employees

5. Basic computer skills

D. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

· Must be a high school graduate.

E. Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The work environment will be a general office environment. It will require some bending and reaching, repetitive motions, the ability to lift 50 pounds, the ability to drive, and the ability to operate a postage machine.
